I know that the tattoo industry has awards that they give out for "Top Quality", and hold conventions across the country.

My questions are:

Are tattoo artists/shops "rated" across the country? If so, how?

How do I find a artist/shop that specializes in tribal work?

Is there some kind of directory for things like this?

Thank your for your time.

rating various tattoo artists is always difficult, because it s art... what attracts one person does not necessarily attract others as well

conventions are great to gain insight in how people work, see what s possible and get into contact with artists

in the end, all that s really important is that you like the way your artist works, and that you get your tattoo the way you want it
